Jaisalmer Desert

The train trip here was marked by a dust storm that infiltrated every nook of the Sleeper car. I'm not sure how much the AC class carriages escaped it, but I doubt they did. The fine dust is like powder and gets in everything.

There is little use in fighting it. Best just to get used to it because it is a part of the desert which surrounds Jaisalmer.

The Cold Nights

Being in the desert, the train and the town itself have the kind of weather that occurs when there is no atmosphere. Namely, the sunny days are hot, and the desert nights are cool or even cold. And often, windy, especially near morning.
