This was on a short two-hour hike not far from Dharamsala and McLeod Ganj in the Himalaya. The sun is setting. The trail goes straight up for an hour and then winds around the side of a mountain with these views.
In many places it is easy to just take off hiking down a trail and explore. Few people do that, so you get a real-life experience of people who have lived in these mountains for eons.
